My style is interactive. I give feedback, pose questions, make observations and ask you to think about and discuss your reactions to my comments. The process is collaborative, so clients are always encouraged to share their perspective, even when it differs from mine.
We explore life-long assumptions you may have about yourself and others and the origins of those ideas. We look at how your thoughts and feelings may both support and hinder your well-being. We address these patterns in the context of the changes you are hoping to make in your life. Your goals for therapy are always front and center. Once you understand why you react the way you do, the potential for change skyrockets.
